The GX550 Overtrail is equipped with plastic wheel flares. As these flares are unpainted plastic, they are not included in the standard paint protection film kit.

The supplied paint protection film pieces are precision-cut to suit the painted body panels and exterior configuration of the Overtrail model.

GX550 Luxury / Sports Luxury Kit

Select this option for the Lexus GX550 Luxury and Sports Luxury.

These variants are equipped with painted wheel flares. The Luxury / Sports Luxury kit includes precision-cut paint protection film for these painted flares in addition to the standard body protection pieces.

Kit contents and the number of supplied pieces may vary depending on the selected vehicle variant.

DIY Installation

This kit is designed for customers who are confident carrying out their own paint protection film installation.

For the best result, installation should be completed indoors in a clean, well-lit and dust-free environment.

The vehicle must be thoroughly washed, decontaminated and correctly prepared before installation. Wax, polish, ceramic coatings, dirt and other surface contamination may prevent the film from adhering correctly.

All required installation tools and LMNT installation gel solution are supplied with every DIY kit.

Some larger or more complex panels may require additional installation experience. Professional installation is recommended for customers who are not comfortable working with paint protection film.

• The vehicle paintwork is suitable for paint protection film installation

Paint protection film will not hide existing scratches, stone chips, dents, paint defects or previous repairs. Existing damage may remain visible underneath the film.

Installing paint protection film over damaged, resprayed or poorly repaired paint may result in paint lifting during installation or future removal.
